About BRISE Project

Co-funded by the EU INTERREG 3C Programme, the BRISE Project, "Building Regional Information Society Expertise" aims to improve and enlarge an interregional European network, which promotes the use of information and communications technology, by exchanging knowledge and experience, and by promoting the development of ICT clusters in peripheral regions.

Objectives

Organising working groups about eGovernment, eLearning, eBusiness, Broadband, and Inward Investment, and delivering staff exchanges, study visits, workshops and conferences. Identifying interregional ICT projects for the future, which aim to overcome the peripheral location of the partner regions in relation to Central European zones Producing an action plan to identify and access potential capital sources for ICT based inward investment to the partner regions in the network
