Venue
The "i2010 for European Regions and Cities" Conference takes place in the Regional Centre Olomouc (R.C.O.), which is located at Jeremenkova 1211/40b, 779 11 Olomouc, Czech Republic, GPS 49°35'26.9''N 17°16'38.95''E. Registration
The conference registration fee is €250.
There is a special delegate rate of €95, which is subsidised by the BRISE Project for delegates who are resident in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Travel
Delegates are responsible for organising and covering the costs of their own travel to Olomouc. Delegates can book transfers from the Airport to Olomouc. For further details, please click here

Language
Please note that the working language for the conference will be English. However, Session 4E is in the Czech Language.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Fees associated with cancellation of participation in conference and hotel accommodation:

Security, Health and Safety
Please wear your name badge for all Conference activities (including social events), as it is your identification and allows you access to the facilities on offer. Unfortunately, conferences provide a tempting target for thieves, so please take care of bags, personal computers and other personal belongings.
The organisers cannot accept any responsibility for losses incurred or for personal health and safety. Delegates should ensure they have personal health insurance and take the usual care when exploring the City of Olomouc. Any special needs or requirements, should be dealt with by contacting the conference secretariat prior to the event.
Major Places of Interest
The City of Olomouc is capital of the Olomouc Region, and home to the second oldest university in the Czech Republic (1573). The city dates back to the 10th century AD, when it became an important trade crossing-point.
Easily accessible from Vienna or Prague airport (transfers will be arranged on request for delegates and accompanying persons), with a population of 100,000, the City of Olomouc has a great deal to offer both socially and culturally. It features the second most significant collection of historical monuments in the country after Prague, with landmarks including the Moravian Theatre, Museum of Natural Science, Museum of Art, a range of art galleries and the Zoological Gardens on Svatý Kopecek (The Holy Hill).
The beautiful Olomouc Region, which has a total population of 636,500, also features rare plants and animals in the Protected Landscape Areas of the mountains of Jeseníky and Litovelské Pomoraví, a large complex of floodplain forests in the basin of the river Morava.
